Last July 23-36,2011 together with my family (Tita Aluth, Tito Gino, Kristen,Tito Bobot,Joan, Von) we headed to Puerto Princesa Palawan to enjoy the beauty of this place. This is my 2nd time (the first is 2009) to go to Palawan so I must admit, there are some places there wherein I realize that I should've planned a place wherein I haven't been to specially the City Tour. But since it is the first time for my family, I gladly accompany them.
I wanted an accommodation with a pool so I googled it and it is quite hard to look for one. Good thing I came across a site which says "Infinity Pool" and that's a Eureka for me! Upon going to their site, I fell inlove with the view and surrounding that it offer. The place is called Marina De Bay.
The Resort is located at a quite remote area in Puerto Princesa. Good thing they offer a van transfer from Airport to Hotel and VV. If you want to go to the city at night, they also have a free van which can accommodate you from 6-9pm.
Aside from the Infinity Pool, what I like about this place is that they have Package Tours. Since we are after the Underground River, we chose their Wildlife and Marine Package (4Days and 3Nights) – Php7,890 nett/ pax.
Their package includes: Hotel Accommodation on Twin Sharing at Exec. Suite Villa, Daily Breakfast, Airport Roundtrip transfers, Welcome Drinks, and TOURS such as Underground River Tour with picnic lunch, Honda Bay Island Hopping with picnic lunch, and Half-day City Familiarization Tour..Good deal for the money right??!! =)
Since we are a group of 7, we were given the Exec Suite Villa and the Junior Suite Villa.
The Exec Suite Villa is quite interesting, there's a a Queen Size Bed upon entering the room and there are 3 single beds at the 2nd floor. On the other hand, the Junior Suite Villa has a queen size bed in it. Both Villa also comes with a small patio where you can eat your food may it be bought from their Restaurant or from a food chain outside the Resort. The Patio can fit around 5-7 people.
